Our goal is to help you prevent behavioural issues from arising by providing you & your puppy with an education that is based around the psychology of your new family member. We want to teach you to raise your puppy into a calm and balanced dog.

How To Raise Your Puppy Right

Education is so important, for both owners and their dogs. Did you know the best time to start teaching your puppy is when they are young and their brains are designed to learn the in’s and outs of the world.

In our “How To Raise Your Puppy” consultations you will get the tools and the knowledge to help YOU raise your puppy into a balanced canine who can fit into your life style and be involved in the activities you like.

Of course we will answer all the normal puppy questions , but you will also learn the importance of manners, expectations, appropriate socialisation in environments and with dogs and how to meet the needs of your new puppy.

A one-on-one puppy consult can also be extremely beneficial for rescue puppies that haven’t had the greatest start to life or puppies who may be struggling to remain calm, balanced and confident.

A big part of the consult is learning about canine communication as often many behaviours are misread or misunderstood.

Pricing: $100 for 1st hour, then $70 per hour after.

Follow-ups at a later date are $80 per hour.

CLASSES

Puppies Learning Together

Education for both owner & puppy is so important. While raising a puppy seems straight forward, would you look after rhinoceros without having learnt about it’s needs & behaviours? Your puppy is a different species and there is no better way to learn than being around other like minded owners.

In our “Puppies Learning Together” classes you will get the tools and knowledge to help YOU raise your puppy into a balanced canine who can fit into your life style and be involved in the activities you like.

Of course we will answer all the normal puppy questions, but you will also learn the importance of manners, expectations, appropriate socialisation in environments and with dogs and how to meet the needs of your new puppy.

This is a small group class so you will also get to see and learn about social interactions between puppies and how to encourage appropriate interaction between people and puppies.

This class is no regular puppy school and the focus will be around teaching YOU how to raise your puppy so you can prevent behavioural issues arising when they reach adulthood.

Pricing: Baby-Puppy Class – $230 for a 5 week course.

Your "Perfect Partner"

Bringing a dog into your home is a big decision. Do you know what sort of dog would best suit your family? When faced with 6 puppies/dog would you know which one to choose?

Like people, dogs can have varying needs & dispositions. And just like a human partner, you need to be compatible otherwise you will be constantly functioning in a state of mind that is difficult for you.

Most owners bringing a dog into their home want them to fit in smoothly with their lifestyle and be able to have them participating in their activities. To have a better chance of this happening it is best to pick the right dog for you!

Our “Perfect Partners” service is to help you choose the right dog for you, so you and your dog can work towards an enjoyable and fulfilling relationship – with some work & understanding of course!

With nearly 7 years in the service dog industry, picking puppies based on temperament and matching them with people is what we do best!

Baby Puppy Day-School

So you have new family member home and if you are lucky it was timed so you got to have a bit of time off to help settle them in! However,we understand that most owners cannot be at home 24/7 and do have to return to work.

While puppies are quite robust and flexible, leaving them alone all week while you go to your full-time job can be a bit much. Plus they won’t be getting the exposure and learning experiences at this critical age.

We offer a “Baby Puppy Daycare” service. Where your young pup can come and hang out with us during the day, we can feed them their lunch time meals and get them off to a great start with their training and behaviour. All the while being able to safely interact & socialise with puppies of a similar age.

We will also start their socialisation with new objects, animals & people, while they are in our safe puppy environment – starting to build confidence so they are more prepared to head out into the human world.

This service is available to puppies that are not full vaccinated.

Puppy Raising Day-School

Socialisation & “life” training at a young age is incredibly important and will lay the foundation to your dogs behaviour & state of mind. While many owners have enough time to spend with their dogs often they don’t have enough time to do the level of socialisation & training many puppies need to be confident in a human world.

Our “Puppy Raising Day-School” is to help you provide an education to your puppy at a time where it’s really important. While you are at work your puppy can come and learn with us to get that extra good start in life.

We will work with them to make sure they get a good foundation in important command & manners, like leash walking, recall, appropriate interactions with other dogs & people and teaching them the ability to wait & be patient.

We will also socialise them in a wide variety of environments, situations and expose them to different animals – all the time showing them how to remain calm and balanced and cope with new things so they can grow up into calm and balanced dogs that are able to have more freedom.

Puppy Walk & Raise

Has your puppy reached a certain age and now doesn’t seem quite as responsive? Or is he struggling with some fear based issues? Have you recently rescued a new puppy who you feel is lacking in some appropriate social skills?

Our “Puppy Walk & Raise” can help with this, by providing some one-on-one training. While you are at work your puppy can come and learn with us to get that extra good start in life and have an experienced handler show them the world is not so daunting, laying a good foundation for you to continue to work on.

This service is great for puppies that maybe struggling in certain areas. We will work with your puppy give them a good foundation in all things dog and how to be well-mannered & relaxed in a human world.

Puppy Stay & Raise

Like people, puppies personalities, levels of confidence and start to life can be varied. Socialisation & “life” training done right at a young age is incredibly important. While many owners have enough time to spend with their dogs often they don’t have enough time or experience to do the level of socialisation & training many puppies need to be confident in a human world.

Our “Puppy Stay & Raise” helps with just this. Your puppy can come and learn with us to get that extra good start in life and help them work through some of the skills they may not have got from their mother. They will learn all their important and useful commands, as well as manners so they can become balanced and confident while living in a human world.

We will also socialise them in a wide variety of environments, situations and with other animals – all the time showing them how to remain calm and balanced so the are able to cope with new situations when the are older.
